Join us at Broadus Church to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas at The Living Nativity — a cherished community tradition that brings the story of Christ’s birth to life.

Experience the wonder of Christmas as you journey along a guided outdoor trail featuring nine beautifully staged scenes, more than 70 actors, and live animals.

Afterward, enjoy a hayride, visit our Worship Center for warm refreshments, and take part in fun family activities.

Tickets are FREE and will be available online in early November 2025.
You’ll find the reservation link on this page and the Home Page of our website.

Please reserve tickets for each person age 5 and older so we can accommodate as many guests as possible.
If you need help booking, changing, or canceling tickets, call the Church Office at 804-779-2700 ext. 14 — we’re happy to assist!

Performance Times:

  • Fridays: 6:20 – 8:20 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 6:00 – 8:20 p.m.
  • Sundays: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
    Performances begin every 20 minutes.

Absolutely! The Living Nativity is a family-friendly experience. Many of our actors and volunteers are children and youth.
Parents of small children are encouraged to bring wagons or sturdy strollers.
Children 4 and under do not need tickets.

We’ll do our best to accommodate walk-up guests using unclaimed or late-arrival ticket spots.

Plan to spend about one hour outdoors.
Your visit includes check-in at our heated pavilion, a wagon ride, and a walk along the trail.

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time for parking and check-in.
Guests who haven’t checked in 15 minutes before their start time may lose their reserved spots, but we’ll do our best to fit you into a later group.

If you must exit during the performance, please speak with a trail guide — they’ll safely escort you from the trail.

If the weather makes it unsafe to continue, performances may be canceled.
You’ll be notified by email (using your ticket registration), and updates will be posted on our website and Facebook page.
Cancelations will be announced at least one hour before showtime.
Please note: Canceled performances will not be rescheduled.

You’re welcome to take photos or videos!
We simply ask that you avoid flash photography, dim screens, and silence devices to preserve the atmosphere and safety of our performers.

Our animals help bring the Nativity to life! For everyone’s safety, please don’t touch or feed them during the performance.
