At Broadus Church, we welcome everyone to join us in worship, study, and fellowship. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or seeking a new church home, we’re here to walk beside you as you grow in your relationship with Christ.
Becoming a member is a meaningful step that signifies your commitment to follow Jesus and to live out your faith within a loving church family.
The first and most important step in becoming a member is a personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe that:
Following your profession of faith, you’ll have the opportunity to be baptized by immersion — a beautiful symbol of new life in Christ. While baptism is not required for salvation, we believe it’s an important act of obedience and public witness to your faith.
If you’re already a member of another Baptist church, you may join Broadus Church by transfer of letter.
This simply means your previous church will notify us that you’ve moved your membership to Broadus. It’s a way of affirming your faith journey and continuing your commitment to serving Christ in a new church home.
If church records are unavailable, or if you’ve previously been baptized as a believer, you may join by statement of faith.
We gladly welcome those who profess their personal faith in Jesus Christ and have followed Him in believer’s baptism, even if documentation from a previous church isn’t available.
Church membership isn’t required for salvation, but it’s an important and sacred step of faith and belonging.
Becoming a member means:
At Broadus, we open our doors to everyone. Whether you choose to become a member or not, you are always welcome to join us in worship, Bible study, service, and fellowship.
If you’d like to learn more about membership, we’d love to talk with you.
